I really love this icon, but I do have a few suggestions!
It is one of my pet peeves when a violin is held in the wrong position. The bow should be positioned over the open area of strings between the fingerboard and the bridge. Also, the G and D strings have fine tuners and the frog of the bow (where the string attaches) should come down lower.
Here are some reference pictures: fine tuners: [link] frog: [link]
Other than that, great job! I love the texture of the wood and the scroll looks excellent! Keep up the great work!
I agree with you the violin is great, but to add, G and D do not have to have fine tuners, in fact, none of them have to. Most full size violins just have a fine tuner on the E string becuase it tends to be the most difficult to tune correctly.
Many times school owned instruments will becuase it's easier to tune with fine tuners, or they suggest it becuase it's easier and doesn't change the violin at all. But once you get into the higher end instruments (violins can get very high, I got to see one that cost 4.5 million once O_O) people usually just use the pegs, mostly becuase of preference and it's more professional.
That's true. My suggestion would be to change it so that the fine tuners are either on all of the strings or on only the E. Not on just the E and A. Also, the tip of the bow should be a little more pointed. The frog is a little weird.
But besides the little nit-picky things, great job! C:
